Consultance Accounting Services CEO Orin Schepps is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and current member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). Consultance is located in North Bethesda, Maryland and was founded in 2008.
Mr. Schepps graduated from The University of Maryland, and holds degrees in both accounting and economics. He spent several years in public accounting, has served as controller and CFO for numerous privately held companies, worked for several Fortune 500 companies in both accounting and finance related positions.
Mr. Schepps is also a member of The Greater Bethesda Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce and serves currently on the Chamber’s Member-to-Member task force. He is active in the community and volunteers both his time and services to multiple organizations in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Lindsey Davids has over 10 years of experience in the areas of corporate accounting, business administration and auditing. She began her career as an auditor with Grant Thornton and continued auditing in public accounting for 6 years with a focus on non-profit clients. Lindsey received her master of accountancy from The George Washington University and is a CPA.
Tracy Slavin has over 20 years of experience in the areas of corporate accounting, finance and auditing. She has held Chief Financial Officer and Controller positions with various companies and began her career as an auditor with PriceWaterhouse. Tracy is a CPA who received her MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from The University of Maryland. She graduated with High Distinction Honors from The Pennsylvania State University with a BS in accounting.
Tracy Arenz has over 15 years of experience in the accounting field and has worked for CPA firms as a bookkeeper and tax preparer. She received her Associated Degree from Ventura Community College.
Jenny Furst has over 20 years of experience in bookkeeping and business administration. Prior to Consultance, she worked for 16 years in office manager and full-charge bookkeeper positions for several corporations. Ms. Furst is certified in QuickBooks and is a Member of the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program. She is also a Member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
Elise has over 20 years of bookkeeping and business experience. She has been with Consultance for two years, working on a variety of clients in the non-profit and business sectors. Previously, she was employed as a full-charge bookkeeper and as a paraprofessional with two national accounting firms.
Danielle has over 12 years of experience in bookkeeping. She has mainly worked with small and medium sized companies in Virginia, Arizona, Nevada and California. She has a BS in accounting from the University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in accounting, with a concentration in forensic accounting, at the University of Southern New Hampshire.
